John S. Shegerian is the Chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International® (ERI) and ERI's subsidiary organizations, www.1-800-RECYCLING.com and www.urbanmining.org. Established in 2002, ERI collects and recycles electronic waste, specializing in the sustainable dismantling of consumer electronic items. Under Shegerian's stewardship, ERI has fast become the largest and most efficient recycler of electronic waste in the world. ERI is licensed to de-manufacture and recycle televisions, computer monitors, computers, and virtually all other types of electronic equipment. ERI developed and houses the largest e-waste crusher in the world and processes more than 120 million pounds of electronic waste annually at its locations in California, Colorado, Indianapolis, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas and Washington.
Shegerian is also co-host of Clear Channel's "Green is Good,", the nation's #1 rated environmentally themed radio program, in which John interviews celebrities, company leaders and green nonprofits regarding environmental issues and opportunities. Guests have included Wal-Mart,FedEx, Hewlett Packard, Verizon, Enterprise Rent A Car, and many more.
An accomplished public speaker and author, Shegerian's inspirational memoir, Mandingo and Me is will be published in 2014.
A Board Member of the American Sustainable Business Council, Shegerian's columns on the subject of sustainability can be read regularly in Environmental Leader. His talks on sustainability, innovation and the benefits of running a green business have moved and inspired prestige audiences from China, India, and throughout Europe, to the World Bank, United Nations and the White House.
Prior to his work at ERI, Shegerian had co-founded www.financialaid.com, one of the most successful student loan companies in the country. While at financialaid.com, he also created www.rateyourcampus.com (a college student polling and feedback community) which then led to the creation of www.campusdirt.com (which evolved into the most relevant and trafficked college search engine). Also, www.campusclix.com was created and became one of the first college social networking properties on the web. In October 2004, Shegerian and his partners sold financialaid.com and all the aforementioned affiliated properties to Education Lending Group, which was purchased in February 2005 by CIT (NYSE: CIT).
In 2004, Shegerian created, and still serves as Founder and CEO of Addicted.com, a comprehensive, interactive website dedicated to helping those struggling with the disease of addiction, that has become the leading online space for the recovering community.
For his work with ERI, Shegerian has been named the Clean Tech Entrepreneur of the Year for Northern California by Ernst & Young. He has also received the "Innovator of the Year" award from the International Electronics Recycling Conference & Expo (IERCE) for his development of 1-800-Recycling.com and its role in democratizing the recycling process nationwide. ERI has also won "Recycler of the Year" and the "Industry Pioneer" award from the IERCE.
Shegerian is driven by his commitment to innovate and develop companies that benefit and inspire others and are socially responsible. Shegerian has a 25 year track record of quickly converting start-ups into large, highly successful business enterprises.
Shegerian serves alongside California state legislators as a member of the California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth and was appointed to serve on the Governor's Gang Advisory Committee, focused on providing the State's top legislators with guidance pertaining to policies geared toward the reduction of gang and youth violence. No stranger to "recycling lives" and serving up second chances, In 1993, Shegerian had co-founded Homeboy Tortillas and Homeboy Industries, which continues to serve as a paradigm for urban renewal in America and was awarded the New York Stock Exchange "Building for the Future" Award for creating new jobs and opportunities for gang-impacted youth in post-riot Los Angeles. John is also the recipient of the prestigious "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award," presented by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Committee to businessmen working to provide compassionate solutions for society's problems.

Tammy Shegerian

As Chief Operating Officer of Electronic Recyclers International®, Tammy Shegerian oversees and manages
the day-to-day operations of each aspect of the organization, including sales oversight.
It's a role she fits perfectly due to her 25 years of business management experience, most
recently having served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of a privately held
food manufacturer. For more than a decade, she was instrumental in achieving dramatic
revenue growth while increasing net income through development and management of the
company's continuous improvement program. During this period, the company grew from number
five to number one market share in its space.
Prior to her work in food manufacturing, Shegerian served as a Commercial Real Estate Broker
for Julian J. Studley (Sommer Commercial Real Estate). Focusing on office and retail leasing
in the Santa Monica/West Los Angeles marketplace from 1989 to 1997, she led that firm's sales
in the Santa Monica market from 1992 to 1997.
Earlier in her career, Shegerian developed her sales and sales management skills at National
Service Contracts, a brokerage firm specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration service
contracts nationally. Her team's sales were highest in the company and instrumental in NSC's
completion of a Public Offering in 1989.
She started her career with the Carnation Company, working with the organization's product
management program until Carnation became part of Nestle in 1985.
Shegerian earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from USC, where she
graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Kevin J. Dillon

ERI's Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder, Kevin J. Dillon, has played a significant role in paving the
way for the electronic recycling industry as a whole. Alongside Fresno-based entrepreneur and ERI's CEO,
John S. Shegerian, Dillon has constructed a new gold standard and has helped lead ERI to a place of national
influence. Beyond playing a key role overseeing the top to bottom operations of the organization, Dillon's
work also includes managing corporate sales, overseeing internal operations, acquisitions and all business
development for the company.
Prior to ERI, Dillon worked alongside John Shegerian at FinancialAid.com to help pioneer one of the largest student
loan companies in the United States. Dillon hired and creatively managed the organization's sales force and
loan counselors while growing FinancialAid.com's sales to more than $2 billion annually -- leading to the
organization's subsequent purchase by and transition to the oldest financial institution in the United States.
Prior to his efforts at FinancialAid.com, Dillon served as project manager for Southwestern Bell
Communications (SBC). At SBC, Dillon managed quarterly IT implementation releases for SBC's subsidiaries and
facilitated cross-functional team meetings.
Dillon worked as an outside pharmaceutical sales representative for Johnson & Johnson where his
responsibilities included product awareness and inventory management for California's central valley.
Dillon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance from California State University, Fresno.

Aaron Blum
Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer

One of the co-founders of Electronic Recyclers International®, Aaron Blum is directly involved
with high level sales and compliance. Blum's accounts include such Fortune 500
companies as NEC, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Toyota, BFI and Waste Management. In
addition, Blum was instrumental in the development of the corporate relations
and Research and Development infrastructures for Electronic Recyclers International®. He has
helped lead Electronic Recyclers International® to the #1 approval rating for SB20/50 claims
in the state of California and played an integral part in working with the State
to develop new regulations and improve the current SB20/50 legislation regarding
electronic waste.
Before co-founding Electronic Recyclers International®, Blum headed the sales department for
Pullz Computers, a southern California based computer resale company. Within a
year of starting with Pullz, Blum helped double the company's sales revenue.
Blum graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors degree in
Business Administration.

Linda Ramos
Director of Administration

A wearer of many hats, Linda Ramos is Electronic Recyclers International's Director of Administration – charged
with overseeing productivity and efficiency at ERI's Fresno headquarters as well as all subdivision
offices of the company. Ramos is also responsible for supervision of the front office and HR staff,
payroll, accounts payable, investor relations, and management of company CEO John Shegerian's
travel and meeting schedule.
Prior to her work at ERI, Ramos performed similar duties working alongside Shegerian at
FinancialAid.com, managing that company's finances as it grew, and ultimately playing a key role in
the success of what became one of the largest student loan companies in the United States. Prior to
her work at FinancialAid.com, Ramos served as General Manager for Di Cicco's Italian Restaurants for
fifteen years where she was responsible for hiring and scheduling for two restaurant locations, on
site managing for a staff of thirty, accounting, payroll, outside sales and implementation of
company policies.
Ramos graduated from California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. She was also a member of Golden Key Honor
Society and the business fraternity Phi Kappa Phi.

Ronald Kerr

Ronald (Ron) Kerr, CPA, is ERI's Corporate Controller and is responsible for all day to day accounting functions, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, internal control systems, and treasury activity. Prior to joining ERI, Ron served as Manager Financial Reporting & Analysis for Bayer HealthCare, Interim Controller for Metrika, Inc., and Director of Finance /Controller for Paramount Farms and Paramount Citrus.
Ron has more than twenty years of financial management experience with Life Sciences, Farming, Food processing, and high volume manufacturing industries. He has built accounting and finance organizations for both start-up companies and large publicly traded companies with an emphasis on timely, accurate, and relevant information meeting the needs of internal and external customers, alike. Ron has managed organizations with consolidated revenue from $20M to $250M.
As Controller / Interim CFO of Metrika, Ron was responsible for coordinating and executing the M&A of Metrika by Bayer HealthCare. Ron is a graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa where he graduated Cum Laude with a double major in Accounting and Economics.

Jesse Stallone

Jesse Stallone works closely with ERI Chair John Shegerian to develop and drive new business
opportunities by identifying viable sustainability trends that meet ERI's strategic goals,
and leverages the company's analytical skills and industry knowledge to execute deals as ERI
expands across the US. He also helps to provide overall direction for ERI by building support
for and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices.
Stallone brings to ERI a rich and diverse business development and management background with
14 years of corporate environment experience providing overall direction and driving large
strategic initiatives. Most recently, Stallone was Director of Sustainability and Strategic
Planning at Allied Waste industries, responsible for the company's sustainability and
innovation business development initiatives.
He has also served as a Six Sigma Black Belt in charge of Continuous Improvement of Waste
Reduction programs for The Home Depot.
Stallone received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy and Soils from Auburn University
and his MBA in International Business from Our Lady of the Lake University in Houston.

Jason Parsons

Jason Parsons, Electronic Recyclers International's Director of Technology, is an experienced, multi-faceted Information Technology Director with more than 13 years of experience across various aspects of technology and business strategies. Parsons previously worked in the Manufacturing sector, where he directed all aspects of Information Technology, Security, and Facilities management for a pyrotechnics manufacturing firm located in California. He was responsible for driving long term technology and planning strategies concurrently with the oversight and management of several departments and project teams.
Parsons' primary responsibilities at ERI include overseeing and streamlining all aspects of Information Technology and Information Security. He is also responsible for enhancing mission-critical business operations to better ERI's data and information flow while maximizing data visibility throughout the company.

Rhonda Grady
Director of Environmental Protection, Health and Safety

Rhonda Grady is largely considered to be one of the nation's foremost Environmental Protection Specialists. As Director of
Environmental Protection, Health and Safety for ERI, Grady oversees regulatory and environmental audits of ERI's downstream
vendors to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and appropriate operating practices that meet ERI's standard of
environmental excellence.
Grady brings to ERI more than 27 years of environmental experience in the hazardous waste, solid waste, and recycling
industries providing environmental and regulatory compliance support to field operations. She has previously been employed in
the environmental departments at Waste Management for 9 ½ years and Browning Ferris Industries for 17 ½ years.
Most recently, Grady held the position of Director of Environmental Protection for Waste Management's Eastern Group, comprised
of 13 states in the Northeastern United States, where she managed a staff of 26 environmental professionals to support and
coordinate environmental program implementation, provide regulatory support and guidance, evaluate applicability of new regulations,
and audit, assess and measure environmental performance at over 200 operating facilities.

Tom Shinault
Director of Green Technology Research and Development

A veteran of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Tom Shinault is Electronic Recyclers International®
resident industrial facility specialist and chemical engineer. For the EPA,
Shinault was instrumental in providing emergency response planning on a local and federal
level. He also served as an EPA Planner and Inspector, enforcing federal environmental
regulations.
Shinault provided emergency response planning for the EPA in the event of an environmental
emergency and has assisted major oil companies to come into compliance with the Clean
Water/Clean Air Act, and The Emergency Planning & Community Right-To-Know Act laws by
establishing innovative inspection and planning strategies.
Shinault is a member of the California Hazardous Waste Association, California Water
Pollution Control Association, Water Environment Federation, and the American Society for
Testing and Materials.

Carol DeBellis

Carol DeBellis, SPHR, GPHR, former Director of Human Resources for Fresno Pacific University, a private Christian
University that experienced significant growth over the past few years. She was previously the International HR
and Administration Manager for Pelco by Schneider Electric, responsible for supporting the organizations international
growth objectives; including all aspects of Human Resources. Prior to that she was the International HR Project
Manager for JCPenney Direct Marketing Services, overseeing start up projects in Canada, Australia and Japan.
Certified both in Senior and Global Human Resource Management, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a
BS in Business Management. She is active in the local community serving as the Chief Operation Officer for the
Trauma Intervention Program of Fresno County.

As ERI's Program Manager for E-Waste Legislation, Katie Reilly is in charge of tracking and monitoring all e-waste legislation in the US. She works to ensure that ERI and its network of collectors, manufacturers, and retailers are compliant with all state e-waste programs.
Katie brings to ERI direct experience working with producer responsibility programs. Prior to joining ERI, she served as the Program Director of the Indiana E-Waste Program. She was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the statewide effort and took the program from a freshly hatched piece of legislation to a fully functioning infrastructure designed to recycle over 22 million pounds of e-waste in the first year.
She received her Master of Public Affairs in Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Tyler Browning

Tyler Browning is Corporate Counsel at Electronic Recyclers International (ERI). Prior to joining ERI, Tyler served for three years as a senior associate at Browning & Browning, LLP and as the Director of Business Development and Legal Counsel for CP, Inc., a multi-million dollar holding company that administers, owns and develops branded consumer products. Prior to his work at Browning & Browning and CP, Inc., Tyler was an Associate at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP.
Tyler's long interest in recycling, clean energy and climate change issues combined with his passion for sustainability and the environment make him a great match for ERI.
Licensed by the State Bar of California, Tyler received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, his LL.M degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Southern California.

Brenda Mathison

A globally recognized expert in large scale change and sustainable environmental programs, Brenda Mathison
is now Vice President of Environmental Client Affairs for Electronic Recyclers International. She helps ERI's
clients and customers integrate sustainability and recycling programs into their corporate culture.
Prior to her work at ERI, Mathison was Director of Environmental Affairs for Best Buy, where she developed and
integrated the strategy and operations for a Green program, that incorporated all aspects of the consumer
electronics retail leader's organization. It is largely thanks to her efforts that Best Buy is now recognized
as a leader internationally in its pursuit of environmental sustainability.
Mathison earned her Bachelors of Science degree with distionction from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis
and her Recycling & Facilities Management and Solid Waste and Landfill Management certifications from the
University of Wisconsin in Madison.
