There are now over 60 authorized CRT recyclers in the state of California approved for SB20/50 funding. Of the 60+ approved recyclers, only two facilities crush CRT's using an automated CRT crushing machine. The other approved companies recycle the CRT's by hand, giving ERI a significant competitive advantage with its state of the art automation, maximized production efficiency, and industry leading technology.

Nationally, only 6 states enforce laws governing the environmentally safe disposal of CRT's. These states are California, Iowa, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Maine. ERI is the largest volume recycler of CRT's in the United States.

International data of our competition is not readily accessible because e-waste recycling is just emerging in the recycling industry.
